Sheldon Webster was born August 6, 1944 in Virginia and grew up on the Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge in rural Mississippi. After graduating from Mississippi State University, he served as an Army officer before beginning his CPA career in Birmingham and is Chairman emeritus of Borland Benefield CPAs. Webster was one of the founders of the Alabama Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and served for many years as treasurer. Being an avid sportsman, mountaineer and writer, his has traveled the seven continents and 140 countries. As an author, Webster has written six books and is a past member of the Alabama Writer’s Forum Board of Directors. He divides his time between his home in Birmingham and Burton Place, his sportsman retreat in Mississippi.
